The Whisky16 is an outstanding rough water sea kayak by Nigel Foster of Point65, maneuverable and stable, quick on a wave and easily controlled! The spelling "Whisky16" comes from the Scottish spelling. (The Irish spelling would be "Whiskey16".)

Nigel Foster spent many summers roaming the Scottish Islands by sea kayak, playing in the tidal rapids and surfing the beaches close to the Scottish island whisky distilleries.

Kayaking places with names such as the "Gulf of Corryvreckan with it's famed tidal rapids and legendary whirlpool, and the "Race of the Gray Dogs" where wind and tide whisk the sea into conditions appropriate for the Whisky16 kayak!
